The Grand Hotel is located on the second floor of the bright orange and white building shared with Winner’s Cafe, on the street corner that sits kitty-corner from the Main Square. The entrance to the hotel can be found on the west side of the building (the entrance to the cafe is on the north side of the building). The hotel is as basic as it gets, but it is very centrally-located and easy to find. There are two hotels in town that charge a higher price for foreigners. This is one, the other is the Myangan Ugalzat Hotel.

Though even with the increased rates for foreigners, these are still some of the cheaper beds in town. All beds in the hotel cost 7,000T per night for foreigners, Mongols pay 5,000T. The Grand Hotel contains a total of seven (7) rooms with twenty-two (22) beds. The room breakdown is as follows:

  • Five Bed Rooms: There are 2 rooms with five beds in them (Rooms 204 and 205), these five-bed rooms have toilets in them, in enclosed stalls within the room.
  • Three Bed Rooms: There are 2 rooms with three beds in them (Rooms 201 and 202). These rooms have their own toilets.
  • Two Bed Rooms: There are 3 rooms with two beds in them (Rooms 203A, 203Б, and 203В). These three rooms share a nearby toilet.

There is a shower room at the end of the hall with year-round hot water. The hotel does not have anyone on the staff who speaks English.
