• 9:00-19:00: Western aimags’ Danshig Naadam Festival in Hovd City: Horse Racing, Wrestling, and Archery events spread over two days.

• 9:00-19:00: Great Festival of National Folk Art of All of Mongolian Ethnic Groups

• 9:00-20:00: Ger Musuems (Open Throughout the Day)

July 30th

• 8:00-22:00: Trip to Historical and Natural Places from Hovd to Bulgan Soum

July 31st

• 9:00-17:00: Greeting the Tourists and Checking Into Hotels.
• 10:00-14:00: Horseback Competitions and Presentations of Skillfull Horsemanship
• 13:00-17:00: Medium-Sized Festival with Special National Programs
• 19:00-22:00: Festival with Archery and Games


August 1st

• 6:00-8:00: Praying to the Sun Ceremony
• 9:00-34:00: National Art Presentations of Mongolian Nationalities and Ethnic Groups (Includes Throat Singing, National Dancing, Legends, Murin Khuur and Doombor Performances, Tsuur, and Eagle and Shaman Performances
• 15:00-19:00: Observation of the Total Solar Eclipse
• 20:00-22:00: Continuation of the National Art Performances


August 2nd

• 10:00-13:00: Horse and Camel Trip, Hiking, Visiting Mongolian Families

Service Charge

Local tourists: 20,000T For Foreign Tourists: $70, which includes the following: Map of Hovd Province Tourism, Program in English, Location Map. Horse Fee of 10,000T. Lodging and Meals are not included in the fees!
