Getting There:
The road to Chandmani soum takes you east from the aimag center. During the 4 hour drive you will get a great look at Khar Us Nuur and Jargalant Khairkhan Mountain, and will pass very near Mankhan's soum center. The road to Chandmani is decent for most of the drive, as it shares the main road from Hovd to UB for long stretches, it is only when the road to Chandmani veers north off the main road that things become a little less smooth. The soum center is around the backside of Jargalant Khairkhan Mountain (pictured above in the main photo), you will pass the entrance to Khar Us Lake National Park as you enter Chandmani soum.
